Who Are the ECRA?
The East Collegeway Ratepayers’ Association Inc ( ECRA ) is an incorporated ratepayer group representing all of the owners of condominiums in the seven  condominium developments on the East Collegeway, including the two developments in Broad Hollow Gate. The group comprises three high rise and four townhouse developments.
ECRA’s mission is to represent the interests of its members in local area issues which affect them and to act to protect those interests.
The Association was formed in 2003 to support, successfully, the proposed re-development of Mississauga Road to accommodate increased traffic flows to the UTM campus. ECRA was also able to get traffic calming measures put into effect on The Collegeway.
The Association also participated in OMB hearings in opposition to the development of the Glen Erin Inn site by the Rose Corporation. The OMB ruled in favour of ECRA’s position and Rose abandoned its plans and sold the site.

ECRA is governed by a Board of Directors, one director from each member condominium ( see Contact Us page for details ). Directors are elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Association. ECRA is funded by owners/residents by an annual contribution through their condominium corporations.

ECRA is a member of the new MIRANET  cooperative of Mississauga ratepayer associations. Through MIRANET ECRA will be able to express its opinions on matters affecting all residents of Mississauga.
